Videos are an extremely valuable asset in a our app. They suit best for explaining complicated subjects well, giving real-life example applications, and adding a story or interactive level that can be tricky to accomplish with other methods on their own.
This is how videos might be utilized to their fullest potential in a kids' cybersecurity game:
1. Explainer Videos (Short & Targeted):

  • Concept Introductions: Before a chain of puzzles on a new topic (e.g., "What is malware?", "How does phishing work?"), a short, animated video can present the core concept in an engaging way.
  • "How-To" Guides: Depict real steps, like making a secure password, checking that a link is secure, or how to report online suspicious activity. These could be short, step-by-step visual guides.
